Sign on the roof says "Driving School".

Does German law demand those signs?

Is it an A3? I keep seeing a driving-school-liveried A3 convertible round here. Makes me jealous, I had my lessons in a Corsa.

Instructor - "Zis is ze kar, und Audi A3."
Student - "Das Audi A3! Uber!" Revs engine
Instructor slaps Student
Instructor - "NEIN! ZIS IS NOT FOR FUN! ZIS IS SRS BUSINESS!"

I can't understand, what is the unusual thing?

My guess would be the license plate.

I did most of my lessons in an eye-cancer inducing Astra F. Driving instructor liked bright colours. He then switched to a MK3 Golf in text-marker orange. Let me say that we didn't want to be seen in them.

Then I do not understand what might be wrong with this pic. Except for the blatant lack of school decals, obviously.

There's a good case for making all cars dayglo on safety grounds. Must have been what he was thinking :)

Oh, I somehow missed it.

My car in German driving school was an Alfa Romeo 159 SportsWagon JTDM (read: Italian diesel manual wagon). Guess what, the instructor was a gearhead to the bone. He didn't care about failures, breakdowns or a new engine at just 60000km... or that this happened before quite some years, with his elder Alfa Romeos. Well, it tells that there's at least one driving instructor with a soul.
